Elections

Together with our members, we organize community members (voters) to be in accountable relationships with candidates and elected officials vying to represent them. When voters know what their representatives are doing, they can respond in real-time to reward good leadership and public service, and challenge politics over good policy.

We can’t count on the out-of-balance legislature to make the changes Missouri’s working families have earned. Missouri Jobs with Justice Voter Action is the grassroots leader in bringing the voices of everyday Missourians to the ballot. Since 2006, we have supported raising the minimum wage, expanding Medicaid, cleaning up democracy, curbing predatory lending practices, expanding early voting, and restoring abortion rights. We fight to protect our constitutional right to the initiative petition process and empower voters to directly address the issues that impact their families.

As Missourians, we take care of each other – in our homes, at our workplaces, and when we vote. From the national level to the local level, we’re coming together as voters to protect our freedoms.

Our freedom to vote.
Our freedom to make a good living.
Our freedom to care for our families.
Our freedoms are on the ballot.
By coming together as voters, we make the future and make our voices heard.
Commit to being a voter. Make your plan to vote.
